So be careful what you do. Correct any followers of mine who sin, and forgive the ones who say they are sorry. Even if one of them mistreats you seven times in one day and says, "I am sorry," you should still forgive that person.(CEV)

Today's Verse - Romans 8:6-8

The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;  the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. (NIV)

Letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. (NLT)

Today's Verse - Romans 6:17-18

Today's Verse - Romans 6:12-14

Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. (NLT)

Today's Verse - Romans 3:6-8

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. Today's Verse - Romans 3:22-24

Today's Verse - John 13:34-35

Christians as a whole have failed at this spectacularly. We are not know for love, but for hypocrisy, infighting, judgment, hate and many other negative actions. We must LEARN to practice love. Love is hard and takes much work but the end result is so worth it. Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 over and over and burn it into your brain. Start practicing it, living it, teaching it and praying for it. We must learn LOVE.

For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us. (NIV)
